Project Overview

7-Step process:

Step 1 – Brand Strategy Orientation (review project brief)

We define the targets, goals, schedule, and overall direction to begin the project.

Step 2 – Research Phase

The brief, the industry, and the audience are well researched.

Step 3 – Concept Development I

Brainstorming occurs, condensing ideas from research into creative lists and/or mind-maps for inspiration and future reference. Mock-ups are created from concept.

Step 4 – Concept Development II

More detailed prototypes are developed; possibly several versions with variations of color, style, and/or other elements.

Step 5 – Revisions

Between one and three revisions occur, as they become necessary.

Step 6 – Development of Additional Brand Assets

Creation of stationary, and/or social media images.

Step 7 – Completion

Approval, online delivery of packaged brand assets, virtual presentation of brand guide and assets.

Project Overview

7-Step process:

Step 1 – Research and review

Analysis of the data from the project brief and the strategy-call notes.

Step 2 – Content mapping

Creation of content map, broken down page-by-page, with an outline to be filled with content (call-to-action, about me, etc.) from the client or copywriter(s).

Step 3 – Content collection and organization

We collect photo and graphic images, and written copy in a virtual drive with folders representing website pages, and set the design start date.

Step 4 – Prototyping

The website prototype is developed and presented for further review and revision.

Step 5 – Revision and approval

All necessary revisions are made and approved within the projects defined revision period.

Step 6 – Finalization

Squarespace website ownership is transferred. (It’s official … it’s your house now!)

Step 7 – Client Training

A virtual website training session for your business including how to publish the website, how to update payment information, how to navigate the front-end and back-end; switching out photos, applying style settings, and conducting general housekeeping.

Estimated timeline: 2.5 - 5 weeks
